Corpus Christi College and Impellus have announced a collaboration to provide high-class training and development to managers from businesses across the region.

It’s increasingly recognised that a highly-skilled management team can give businesses of all sizes a significant competitive advantage, with some estimates putting the benefit to the UK economy at £88bn.

To support businesses in and around Cambridgeshire, Corpus Christi College and Impellus have launched a programme helping managers to undertake leadership and management training that’s designed specifically to produce real and immediate benefits in workplace performance.

ILM Accredited Management Training at Corpus Christi College

Managers can take individual courses or put courses together to achieve an Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) Level 3 Award in Leadership and Management.

“This is a really exciting chance for managers to undertake their management training and development in the beautiful setting of Corpus Christi College”, enthuses David Ross, Lead Project Manager at Impellus. “We’re delivering courses that will allow managers to challenge their perceptions, improve their skill bases and generate real organisational benefit.”

Inspiring and Accredited Cambridgeshire Managers

Corpus Christi chose Impellus as a delivery partner after sending their own managers on Impellus training courses.

“The training style employed by Impellus is to challenge and engender responsibility. Whilst there’s an academic framework, the training is highly focused on the workplace and ensuring that managers are actually able to do something better and perform at a higher level when back in the workplace”, said Hayley Woodroffe, the Events and Marketing Manager at Corpus Christi College.

Ross continued, “We’re very pleased to be running this initiative with Corpus Christi. The whole environment and reputation of the College itself is dedicated to the advancement of the individuals who come here. We’re looking forward to bringing accredited management development to managers from across the region in this wonderful and inspirational environment.”
