Funding for your organisation
Impellus is able to draw on government grants and regional European funding
which may be available to your organisation. This enables you to have your
training part funded or in some rare cases even without cost. Our
specialists can talk to you about what's available to you and help you to
shape your training to ensure that it maximises your funding.

Leadership and management funding
Leadership and management has been a hot topic for funding and development
grants of late. Organisations that are looking to improve the skills of key
managers and leaders can access money towards the cost of training through
Impellus. There are several budgets available including the Skills Funding
Agency's LMAS (Leadership and Management Advisory Service) budget, and a
variety or regional budgets across the UK. Typically funding is available to
organisations with up to 250 employees although this varies, and most will
look to make around a 50% contribution although a few may be more generous.
Application processes vary - some can be conducted over the phone, others
will require a physical site visit.

Small and medium sized business development grants
There are regional differences here and budgets can vary enormously
depending on where you are and also what you do. Budgets are typically aimed
at the business owner or a director although again, this isn't always the
case. On occasions programmes can be fully funded but this is rare; most
will look for a contribution and, as above, the majority of these grants
will be matched funded (ie 50% funded). Application processes vary although
most can be done very simply with minimal form filling.
